The Central Okanagan Bursary & Scholarship Society (COBSS) is dedicated to:
a. Providing Financial Support
To establish, maintain, and administer funds generated through trusts, earnings, and generous community donations for the purpose of awarding bursaries, scholarships, and other financial awards. These awards are intended for students who demonstrate both a desire and an aptitude for continuing their education or training at recognized post-secondary institutions.
b. Recognizing and Assisting Students
To honor student achievements and offer financial assistance to Grade 12 graduates who may face challenges in funding their post-secondary education or training.
c. Fostering Community Involvement
To inspire and encourage community support in creating opportunities and resources that help students pursue their educational and vocational goals.
